As a native Oregonian, my earliest memories are of the incredible beauty we’re surrounded by here. I have always felt an affinity to animals, both domestic and wild. My work reflects this lifelong interest. Although I have worked with a number of mediums, I particularly like how lively and energetic my work is in acrylic . My style is painterly with vivid color and bold brush strokes. I think this brings an energy to the work that mirrors the presence of the animals I paint.
